All deployed seafarers are subject to pre-departure orientation briefings with focus on communication barriers, Job Description, health and Sanitation as well as port and host country regulations.

Deployed Seafarers are given the company’s booklets to be used as guidance in their duties.

PT. INTI WAHANA SEMAYA, if necessary can be organizing an In – House Training program which will aim into upgrading Seafarers skills and abilities.

Courses will include effective services in culinary, hospitality, stewarding and other required knowledge.

This particular training will be designed following Public Health Standards. However, due to the high need of upgrading of the English Proficiency of the Seafarers, the Company commenced developing a Modular CD-Rom based course specially designed to all prospective candidates who have displayed potential and interest capability
